I'm using windows 8 on my big screen hdtv right now, 1176x664 ftw

I got an adapter from amazong for under $1 (that's with shipping, under $1 lol) that goes from my 9800gtx+'s dvi to hdmi, then I connect hdmi wire from there to tv, boomshakalaka and windwos 8 has awesome dual monitor support so I can now use my hanns-g with it properly

yeah I've got my tv hooked up to my computer and I've been playing skyrim in big picture mode for about a month now. I love it.
