a razer blackwidow elite http://www6.pcmag.com/media/images/300304-razer-blackwidow-ultimate-2013-elite.jpg
I got the regular blackwidow, the elite was out of stock and idc about a backlight anyway. my favorite feature is you can disable the stupid fucking windows key while you're playing games

half the reason i got it was for the backlight, sometimes when i use the window to light my room clouds make it a bit dark so the backlights are awesome for me
one thing to keep in mind if you use a kvm switch like I do then the software won't work and you can't custom map keys

oh, i wont be using a kvm switch for the foreseeable future i only have 1 desktop at the moment.
i havnt gotten aroudn to the macros yet, but at first i was placing my pinky on the M1-5 macro keys and fuckign up all my typing it took a bit to get used to having that extra length on the keyboard

i told you to private m essage it to me and you didnt. you made some kind of faggy compromise
should i point out that all keyboards are mechanical
"Every key on the Razer BlackWidow has its own independent mechanical key switch mechanism, delivering crisp response and tactile feedback for a completely different feel with each key stroke."

normal keyboards work off membranes, mechanical keyboards work off switches, thats what ive come to believe.

thanks clay for changing my picurer aneme
do you know what's under the membrane? switches
do you know what's mechanical? all keyboards
technically the membrane is the switch, it pushes a little metallic pad onto the board
4 years of studying electronics at tech school and all I know is that and ohm's law
V = I * R if anyone's interested. Also, I = V / R

back at my old apartment i would have never been able to have a keyboard like that,
because the old 90 yr old hag that lived below me actually bitched to the landlord about my keyboard and computer chair being too loud..
The same hag who called the cops on me for a noise complaint, when in fact it was my roommate in the other room making noise. The cops literally just walked in to my house without knocking, and found me sitting quietly at my computer with headphones on. Then they literally started sniffing around my room (The young male cop started sniffing around like a dog to like, psychologically intimidate me or something gay like that. He had this dumb little grin on his face the whole time, and so did his bitch female partner trainee).
It's almost as if he was trying to impress her with "Look how much we can get away with and how many constitutional rights we can break without him being able to do shit about it"
