you shouldn't be using wd40 on your bike chain, you can buy this teflon spray at bike shops which is much better for the drivetrain

one of the shocks in the fork popped if the other one does too will it just kinda lock in place or is it gonna just compress fully and send me to my death I don't see any springs in it but maybe there are

The teflon spray doesn't cost any more than a bottle of wd40

as for the shock it's probably hydraulic, if so then there's no more pressure in the one that popped out and it will just kind of sit there bottomed out until you replace or repair it
