I don't have any hacking skills or interest in doing so.

I have a T-Mobile phone (not data) SIMS in it that makes calls. It is a phone not a tablet. Sony did release a wifi only (effectively a tablet) version in Japan making the Z Ultra the first true tablet phone rather than just a phablet (a term coined by Samsung for a phone between the size of a regular phone and a small tablet).
