if i turn on my computer with the mouse and keyboard plugged in to the USB slots, it wont detect IDE drives.

if i turn on with them unplugged but then plug the mouse and keyboard back in before it gets to the windows loading screen, it instead goes to a screen with some glitched lettering and coloring and stays stuck there

my guess is there is something seriously wrong with my motherboard

it was the cheapest motherboard that would house all my hardware and started causing problems almost immediately. Sometimes shit will just quit working and i have to open up the case and unplug everything and plug it back in 5 times and then it magically works again

im scared to even move my computer when i have to, the motherboard is warped, its not glued to the case.. i have to keep my computer laying on its side, because sometimes it wont work when its on its placed upright, its ridiculous

when me and my friend built this computer together when we were 17 on a tight budget and were like "well.... you dont really need the case or the motherboard to do anything more than just hold everything together, so we'll just get the cheapest ones they make

I used magnets on mine for a while but the hard drives kept messing up the magnet strength and everything would fall out whenever i opened the case up to turn it on

another guy i know used to put his video cards in the dishwasher to get the dust off and never had a problem with it
