yeah two summers ago i was cutting lots of line

my largest fell was prob around 1.5 ft diameter was pretty stoked

skrizach
09-27-2012, 11:47 PM
Pretty sick! I was lucky, my company fast tracked me onto post-burn hazard trees so I got some cool takedowns. My tallest was about 180 ft, and my largest was shorter, but probably 40+ inches.

Well actually, no. It takes only a few seconds to pop out my phone and take a picture, and they can use them later for their yearly accomplishment reports and for materials to promote the company

fucking heartless monster, tree killing basatdrd

those trees were already dead from a giant fire that had come through the year before.

burned trees are beutiful, they are monumets to nature and sohuld be left alone.

Camoron

do you sit around munchin on russian olives all day

skrizach
09-27-2012, 11:56 PM
The fruit grown off of a russian isn't edible to humans, birds only.
And yes that could be true but we were cutting dead trees that were likely to fall into trails and roads, so we were mitigating hazards.

Camoron
09-27-2012, 11:57 PM

You've clearly never fallen any trees before Cam. It's a completely different feeling than anything else.
Directionally falling a massive tree where you want it to go, when you want it to go, and the rushing as it drops and slams into the ground.
Unspeakable fun.

Where'd lnopia go I wanna talk about chainsaws

i live in northern minnesota; everyone here is die-hard survivalist. This area of the world is still "freshly civilized" so to speak; in some towns, there's only been human beings in the area for 4 generations or even less. I ended up inadvertently learning all this shit about chainsaws, ATVs, fishing, hunting, welding, etc just from living around these hicks. Guess I never thought about it, but these skills are going to come in handy during the zombie apocalypse
