Well it does work in our country, I'm one of it's most active members and it has made a huge difference on a lot of issues. I often e-mail politicians with supportive arguments in favour of a lot of these petitions. Phone called some too but only got an answering machine but left messages. It's great, if thousands of people start calling and e-mailing the right people they can't ignore it especially when they are concerned with public opinion of them. It's quite persuasive and is having great successes. I've been doing it for months but it's starting to hit the news because of its success.
