all the scientists are younger and that's just weird, it's like they changed the story arbitrarily. I appreciate them adding female scientists though because just like real life girls make funnier noises when something eats them

houndeyes are really fucking cool now please someone play this so we can talk about how awesome the houndeyes are now. I hope valve sees this and puts houndeyes in hl3.

I don't know if they made it easier or if I'm just better at half-life than I used to be, but anyway I'm dying less than I did as a teenager in hl1

just launched the rocket and roasted the tentacle creature. I remember getting the shotgun earlier in regular hl1, in black mesa I didn't get it until the beginning of this chapter. maybe a false memory from always using cheats as a kid.

ive always felt half life 1 single player was 1000000x better than anything half life 2/episodes

it's a remake of half-life 1 with half-life 2 technology, the levels are more organic there's more variety of scientists/security guards and obviously the graphics are a lot better. gameplay is more or less the same, a couple of puzzles I don't remember may or may not be new

but anyway back to your original question yes if I feel like playing half-life 1 from now on this is the one I will be playing

they're all borrowed from HL2 though so they aren't disorienting and annoying

yeah they did a good job with cranking up the music and setting a mood, valve should really hire these guys
