I'll be shutting down the minecraft server by the end of the month (tonight if I have time), because Amazon is shutting down my free tier access at the end of Jan:
Dear Amazon Web Services Customer,
We hope that you are enjoying your use of AWS. We wanted to let you know that your Amazon S3, Amazon EC2 and Amazon EBS introductory 12 month free usage tier for account number 745650040909 is set to expire on January 31, 2012. Your resources will continue to run once your free tier has ended, but will be charged at the standard, pay-as-you-go service rates as shown on http://aws.amazon.com/pricing/.
If you no longer wish to continue using your AWS resources, you can go to the AWS Management Console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/ where you can shut down your running resources and delete your data.
You are able to view your historical free tier on your monthly AWS bill at http://aws-portal.amazon.com/gp/aws/developer/account/index.html?ie=UTF8&action=activity-summary by looking for the line items labeled "free tier".
We hope you've enjoyed using the AWS Free Usage Tier over the last 12 months, and that it helped you get started and gain experience using AWS. For further questions about the AWS Free Usage Tier offer, please visit the Free Tier FAQ at http://aws.amazon.com/free/faqs/.
Sincerely,
