"Anyone with information concerning Ms. Slone's role in this matter or his current whereabouts should contact the FBI," Special Agent in Charge Michael Schneider said.
On January 6, 2023, the U.S. District Court of Ohio issued a federal arrest warrant for Brenda Slone pursuant to a Federal Grand Jury indictment related to Ms. Slone’s activities following the death of Kent Jacina.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Brenda Slone, the FBI's office announced Thursday. Slone is a "person of interest" in the death of Jacina, whose case was recently ruled a homicide, and law enforcement has not been able to locate her.
The single-count indictment from the U.S. District Court of Ohio alleges that from Jan 1 to Jan 9, Slone "knowingly and with intent to defraud, used one or more unauthorized access devices, namely a Wells Fargo debit card and a personal identification number for Wells Fargo Bank accounts." Through that illegal conduct, the indictment alleges, Slone "obtained things of value aggregating to $7,000 or more."
The charging document does not mention Jacina by name, and the FBI said only that the warrant was "related to Ms. Slone's activities following the death of Kent Jacina."
