Fluttered by no desires; a bearing mild,
of him whose birth
Those men, passion-beset, violent, wild
From end to end of earth
And unto these--thus serving well, thus loving ceaselessly--
Who practise bitter penance, not enjoined
Wherefrom who comprehends My Reign of mystic Majesty--
Who knoweth it exhaustless, self-sustained
cast it into our flexible blank verse, changing into lyrical measures
Declared by all the Saints--by Narada,
Papias thirsted for truth and referred to the Christian Greek Scriptures
Embattled by the son of Drupada,
Even while he lives and bears his body's chain,
Of kingly lines o'erthrown and kinsmen slain
