Girlie Night celebrates the much-loved but often neglected genre of Slumber Party Movies. You know, the ones where you rewind an awesome kiss and watch it five times while sighing deeply or squeal with your friends when the boy and girl finally get together like you NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD HAPPEN (even though you've seen the movie a thousand times).

At Girlie Night, you can swoon and squee without shame.

Seriously. We've fangirled along with everything from '80s classics like DIRTY DANCING and PRETTY IN PINK, to '90s teen romps like CLUELESS and EMPIRE RECORDS, all the way up to more recent favs like MEAN GIRLS and AMELIE -- and oh so many more. Plus, we've always got special cocktails, so you can feel totally classy and fabulous while watching your favorite movies with an audience that appreciates those swoon-worthy moments just as much as you do.

mallrats is the worst kevin smith movie which means it's only like 6x better than empire records whereas clerks is like 30x better

god I fucking hate empire records, I saw it at least a hundred times because it seemed to always be on all day whenever hbo had a free weekend in like 1998 or 1999 its "lol we're so 90's" vibe was outdated even then

once upon a time a producer ate a chasing amy and season 7 of friends vhs and vomited empire records, and the world became a little bit shittier on that day. if empire records was a mash character it would be bj hunnicut.

I didn't even know she was in it, the only people I remember are raspy voiced whore, 'I wish I was david schwimmer but I look more like a chimp' guy who was never in another movie, and 'older hip music guy copy/pasted from the dj character in airheads and/or john cusack in high fidelity'
