I think it's a totally fair sentence. She's trying to claim self defense, but the bitch entered his house, left, went to her car to get her gun, then came back inside and took a shot at the guy and his son. If I was the prosecutor I would have charged her with attempted murder.

yeah, I could maybe buy the warning shot excuse if it happened in the heat of the moment, but it clearly wasn't. She claims she believed her life was in danger, so she went to her car, and instead of driving away she got her gun and went back inside. It's pretty obvious she wanted to escalate the situation and maybe even shoot someone.
