ok hi, I'm steve yelle and thank you for reading my thread. I am 99.99% positive I'll need to reinstall drivers because from what I've found it says refreshing keeps my cp but gets rid of all installed programs. now I know it might seem obvious to you IT workers, but I'm thinking maybe by now in 2013 drivers would somehow like idk ya know what I'm saying like I fucking hate technology

I'm gonna beat assassin's creed 4 first because I torrented it and after I refresh I won't be torrenting games any more because I hate games so I"m just gonna get this fucking terrible game outta the way first because as terrible as it is it's definitely worth the price of free it's a very buggy piece of shit it's just as I predicted it would be it's continuing the trend of being worse every game just like gta w/e am I gonna have to reinstall my drivers

I HAVE THESE DISKS AND I'M ALSO WONDERING IF THERE'S ANY SPECIFIC ORDER YOU GUYS INSTALL DRIVERS IN I WANNA MAKE USRE I DO THSI RIGHT I NORMALY DON'T CARE AND HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLESM BUT I WANNA GET 2K14 OFF TO A GOOD START:

mobo
gcard
ssd
platronics gamecon 780

I'm not seeing anything but praise for the refresh option, you guys hear anything bad? for example do you think cracks for torrented games and shit will stay on my pc or will they dfeintley get removed? idk if I should just do a full reformat or not since I have all my cp on my 4tb and 1tb hard drives so it's not like I need to do the refresh specifically but it seems like it works perfectly fine and only takes like 10 mins + upgrading to 8.1 as opposed to the default amount of install time + upgrade to 8.1

SERIOUS THREAD PLEASE HALP

yeah I know tim but I've been using 8 since the first public release and it's been a dream, I've noticed the speed improvements over 7 and have had absoloutely no problems, my pc boots in under 10 seconds, everything loads instantly including games, idk what to tell ya bud

I'm only doing this shit because of 3rd party programs like splashtop viewer and torrents which I never shoulda installed and still aren't really affecting my pc too badly but I just like to keep it clean

I uninstalled splashtop and my monitor still sleeps even though I set it to not sleep and my metro shit still thinks I have a touch screen etc etc refreshing would be so much easier plus uninstallers don't delete all the extra files this would be so much easier than sitting here going through my entire hard drive I literally no joke officially avhe to get surgery on my testicles I do not want to sit at my computer any longer htan I have to if you don't know if I will have to reinstall my drivers or not or what order to install them in I guess I can just install them afterwards regardless I'm sure it wouldn't hurt even if they're still already there and I'm guessing the correct order is mobo ssd gcard

I believe the refresh is essentially the same as installing from the cd on top of your current os, in which case you're going to make an even bigger mess and yes you will need drivers

if shit is fucked up use system restore instead just roll it back to before you broke everything

stevey's problem is he cvan never leave well enough alone, how many times has he wiped his tablet to install yet another rom and you've seen how fjs worked out

stevey, the number one rule in my business is if it's working you leave it the hell alone

Check (actually read) the manufacturer's forums for your motherboard and GPU, there you can ask questions to others that share similar hardware builds.

if anyone has gone ten years with any os at all without ever reformatting they deserve an award and also a slap for being so stupid
