doesn't windows 8 have a built in iso mounter? See, stuff like that is nice, why can't microsoft just update windows 7 with stuff like that
-
06-30-2013
you can't tell me it wouldn't take microsoft more than a day to have a guy put a windows update out for windows 7 that gives it a built in iso mounter

no noticable differences for casual users once you get the start menu back

yeah even my instructor was talking shit about windows 8 and i was like "uh dude windows 8 is like windows 7 but even better" and he just wouldnt get over the interface and then said it was too much like windows 7 and he'd wait for windows 9
i hope everyone buys windows 9 assumign it will follow Microsoft's pattern and then it bucks the pattern and turns out to be a total piece of shit and I'll be like should have gone with windows 8 fuckers

most people aren't going to revert the interface back, and then, Oh Boy! millions of computer users accustomed to a shitty interface who can't do dick and have to be spoon-fed by corporations
-

if it wasn't a diabolical plot by microsoft, they would have kept the old interface as optional, just a setting you can switch on/off instead of having to download something to change it back

Not to mention the main thing microsoft had going for it in its competition with apple was the more intelligible interface of Windows.
They gave that up to try and stay on the curve with Apple, but they're not going to be able to beat Apple at their own game.

It's like Microsoft almost had Apple in checkmate, panicked, fucked up and missed an important move, and now Apple just wormed its way out of it

you just described the very concept of windows you self righteous ill informed pc newbie hypocrite. If microsoft hadn't forced the gui on everyone with their win 95 abomination I wouldn't have to deal with dumbshits like you all the time. Go ahead, prove you wouldn't be completely and hopelessly lost if you ever had to do anything in DOS.

plug drugs is a fucking moron who would be lost without the GUI, he might as well be an aol user

i can look things up and do them in DOS when i have to; throwing out the GUI for windows increases the gap between your average user and someone who knows what they're doing in DOS, and you fucking know it

oh, that's right, it's more beneficial for you if people don't know what they're doing on computers, so you can profit and leech off them you fucking parasite

Don't try to deflect this back onto me, you're in here whining that windows 8 will breed a new generation of idiots who don't understand the basic principles behind what they're doing, meanwhile windows already did that 20 years ago and you're one of the idiots it bred, you hypocrite.

I hate how those parasites at jiffy lube charge a reasonable price to change peoples oil for them, their customers will never know the glory and the satisfaction of getting covered in oil themselves and are clearly being taken advantage of
